Actions speak louder than words

Actions are louder than words, seriously they are in Pakistan. Although the meaning remains contrary to the actual but people still cares a fig for it. Not drifting back much ago, a peace day was announced by the government of Pakistan to declare our love for the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) which turned other way around but to many morons it’s needed to be asked “what were you thinking?”
Government of Pakistan, unfortunate enough, enjoys a “constant” property when we begin to calculate values and answers to our grave problems. To every teeny weeny hiccup of our government officials we are all geared up to storm them to death. Although much ineptness is portrayed by the government time and again but we should also never fall reluctant in recognizing its some of the efforts too.
The peace day was called down by the people of Pakistan who themselves were at a dead loss. Firstly, we deadly need to reconstruct our “terrorist” image, we are detained at every international airport, “pakis” is the name we are called with, “Goray” consider us pigs, seriously these things are called into questions.
It’s nearly impossible to step into every nook and cranny and put our images to change. But such opportunities must be held tight where we can reconstruct our violent and outrageous image. World must catch a different - positive image of ours. Bevy of incidents cropped up in few years which stamped a false image of Pakistan around the world such as Bin Laden got caught inside the premises of Pakistan, invasion of Afghanis and series of turbulence occurring inside our skins like shia sunni disputes. Now to which of the above stated problems we wouldn’t give nod to?
It has again become apparent how we are good at demolishing our own image - responsible for what we are perceived as. Government gave us on hand a day to emote the expressions of grief and misery at the making of an anti-Islam film “innocence of Muslims” and we have made headline into the leading newspapers “19 got killed at peace rally in Pakistan”, “Day of peace in Pakistan turns to rage”, “Peace day turns deadly”, “More than a dozen killed in riots as ‘Day of Love’ for prophet in Pakistan turn deadly” and many more.
It’s a high time to reconstruct and rebuild our image by not eating mangoes and growing up crops but - by promoting tolerance of any state and category such as tolerance for religion, humanity and minorities. wicked and vicious attributes are to be fought inside then outside, blame game needs a break - seriously it does, bury the hatch and lets extend olive branches others each other more generously onwards and why to give world an outrageous story of our everyday fights.
Heart rendered extensively as 19 got killed on a peace day and leaving us aghast with short of words… but hoping hard that we the people learn and skin in the lessons encompassed.
