West acts and East reacts

Series of protests - breaking down of buildings and killings of the people are all related to one subject… profanity drilled in to the making of an anti muslim film. To no surprise, this set of reactions was too predictable to occur. Humiliating a nation religiously and aesthetically and then expecting them to stay mum? Even a child bounce back when he’s needled hard… so why are the Muslims being told to grow up? Fair enough is the criticism being made on the techniques adopted by the Muslims, at least don’t kill down your own people when you’re protesting against anti-Islamists. Storming U.S. buildings such as embassies wasn’t gulped down well by the U.S. but one must think harder that why people while protesting in Pakistan burnt foreign branches such as Kfc and McDonalds?
Over 60 restaurants in 22 cities if shuts down, no one else but the common people of Pakistan will begin to suffer, sprawling unemployment will touch new highs and the living standards will touch new lows.
Dreadful and crudest of all has been the act of profanity injected through the anti muslim film, making huge claims for the humanity and fall short at record. It’s nearly impossible to digest that how was it not known to so many of the people while the movie was being made? Which law of the world allows mocking any nation religiously?
West has been advancing by leaps and bounds be it technology or the discoveries relating to the mankind. It’s grabbing eye balls for several decades for its services to the mankind and surely providing space to the souls where they can breathe in and speak out their thoughts. Place where animals are given paramount importance and are kept at homes as family members. And the same mindsets belonging to the privileged places consider Muslims lesser than animals?
Now and again, Muslims have been targeted, Danish cartoons which portrayed the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings upon Him) and the famous “Rushdie Affair” who penned down Satanic verses by sketching picture of his own mind abhorred, hurt and offended Muslim sentiments emotionally and religiously. And the most crudely produced work wins over the previous attacks.
Many believed that the whole procedure and the hidden intentions were never known to the actors and the team --- really? From casting to the story narration, from shooting to the sound recording and from putting up to the internet to the receiving of first feedback… there has been enough time to reconsider it. Much of the publicity provided by the Muslim protests which made everyone to look over it over and over again but YouTube didn’t pull it down and it itself got blocked into all Muslim countries.
One film caused numerous protests, in response several reactions and small filmmakers team to face whole Muslim world to face. Fire inside the hearts has been blazed by anti-Islamists themselves, the humiliation and degradation is revealed the murkiest thoughts of the haters.
How good it could be if this low and shameless act could be undone. But to no surprise Muslims are victimized very many times, if we expect Muslims to tone down their violent protests similarly we expect west to not mock Muslims religiously, esthetically and do not consider them lower then animals.

We ought to make more good films like 'The Message'. It was some 20 years back that we made a world class film on Islam.
If we do not do it, then the interpretation of ours goes in the hands of others.
